Job Description:

The objective of this position is to manage existing ColdFusion applications and prepare them for eventual migration to a .NET-based environment. Must have leadership skills to work diligently with different customers to ensure all deliverables are prepared and submitted on time. Experience with creation, adminstration and management of surveys (both internal and public-facing) is strongly desired. SharePoint 2010 experience is also strongly desired.

The Web Applications Developer will be responsible for providing development support for enterprise publishing and collaboration portals. The Web Applications Developer works with other members of the Portal team to support the portals by maintaining and providing customizations through the use of ColdFusion, SharePoint 2010 Enterprise, SharePoint Designer 2010, InfoPath 2010, Visual Studio 2010, JQuery, XSLT, C#, SurveyTracker, and configuration of SharePoint’s native out-of-the-box features.

The Web Applications Developer is a critical part of the Portal team whose responsibilities include ColdFusion as well as .NET administration, development, customization and system documentation.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of C#/ASP.NET Development using Visual Studio
  • 3+ years ColdFusion Development, SDLC documentation, including Required Skills

    • SQL Server Databases
    • Strong understanding of HTML, JQuery and Javascript
  • Comfortable with gathering requirements from and providing demos to customers
  • Ability to analyze, develop, document and maintain custom solutions based on business requirements
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Familiar with Section 508 compliance rules and guidelines
  • Ability to handle O&M tasks as needed

  • Survey Management Experience
  • SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Development
    • InfoPath form development
    • Design and administration of user and group permissions
    • Creation of complex workflows
    • Creation of custom features and solutions using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
    • Familiar with SharePoint Object Model and SharePoint Web Services
    • Understanding of XSL, XSLT and CAML
  • SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Administration
    • SharePoint migration experience (2010 to 2013 strongly desired)
    • Master Page customization and creation
    • Basic SharePoint theme design & branding concepts
    • Familiar with SharePoint Farm and Site Collection administration
  • Multi-site team environment experience preferred

Training/Certification Requirements:

  • MCTS, MCP Microsoft .NET Development
  • MCTS, MCP Web Application Development OR equivalent (preferred)
  • Other related certificate training (optional)

Education/Clearance Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Degree in Software Engineering is preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
    (MUST be a US Citizen)
